Keynote Address by Jill Nolt

Join us on Wednesday May 17th for the keynote address for Modern Richmond Week 2023, whose theme is Site + Place, will be delivered by landscape architect Jill Nolt, ASLA, PLA, RA in VCU's Concert Hall at the Singleton Center, 922 Park Avenue.

A principal in waterstreet studio's Richmond office, Jill will talk about the importance of landscape architecture as an essential component of design. After sharing insights into her design inspirations, she will focus on several of her firm's projects, including VCU's Front Doors, the courtyard and carriage house intervention at an historic Richmond residence, Richmond's Low Line, and the shoreline restoration at The Tides Inn, where Jill and a colleague will be leading two Modern Richmond tours on Saturday May 20 .

Jill's undergraduate degree in Architecture and master's degrees in Architecture and Landscape Architecture are from the University of Virginia. Before joining waterstreet studio, Jill worked for Glave & Holmes, 3North, Nelson Byrd Landscape Architects, and SMBW.

The Keynote will begin at 6:00 PM.
