Mobelux

  • Mobelux 1635 W Broad St Richmond, VA, 23220 United States (map)

When Mobelux's co-founders, Garrett Ross & Jeff Rock, walked into the old Post Office on West Broad for the first time, they weren't sure if they were prepared to take on such an extensive rehabilitation. Neglect had left it a shadow of its former glory. The plaster had rotted away from the walls, teal paint peeled from the brick, and the extremities of the structure had been abandoned for decades. By the end of the tour none of that mattered. They'd realized how special the building was and knew it was a perfect fit for Mobelux's current size (and personality).

Over the past year they've worked hand-in-hand with BOB Architecture to transform Saunders Station into an adaptable space conducive to Mobelux's unique approach to software development. Featuring a restored lobby that converts into a presentation space, a resolution to an 80-year public art mystery, and a theater built from the remnants of the Westhampton Cinema, the re-established Saunders Station is comprised of modern architectural elements, era-respective details, and compelling stories around every corner.

NOTE: Due to the size of the space, only ticket holders will be admitted. Tickets are free.
